Admission to School
Rivacre is a popular school.  We do try to accommodate all children whose parents wish them to attend.  However, admission does depend on the availability of places.  The governors offer places in the following order of priority.

• Children who live in the “catchment” zone

• Children with siblings in school

• Children with personal or domestic circumstances justifying a special place

• Distance from school

In accordance with Cheshire West and Chester Local Authority policy we have one intake a year.  Children whose 5^thbirthday falls between the 1^st September and the 31^st of August enter school in the September of that academic year.

Admission to the Nursery
Children can start in the Nursery in the term after their 3^rd birthday.
