Safeguarding
Safeguarding at Rivacre Valley
Rivacre Valley Primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are fully dedicated to ensuring that consistent and effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support children, families and staff at school. To ensure swift, secure communication between staff, we use CPOMS, an online system that allows us to monitor safeguarding, well-being and pastoral issues.
We follow the procedures set out by
and staff and Governors all receive regular and updated training provided by them.

CONCERNS
Our first proirity is, of course, your child's welfare and school is required to take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of it's pupils. There may be occasions when we have reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse. Our first action would always be to discuss our concerns with parents/guardians unless we feel that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare. In such cases school is obliged to follow the Child Protection procedures established by Cheshire West and Chester Safeguarding Children Partnership and contact Children's Social Care.
